If you thought a “blur” was a silly name for a beauty product, you
probably haven’t stumbled across your first “no-poo”. Steady on, guys –
I’m talking about shampoo. (Well, actually, “no-shampoos”). Now more
regularly going by the name of cleansing conditioners, these one-step
formulas gently cleanse and intensely moisturise the hair. The idea is
to use one a couple of times a week in place of ordinary shampoo (which
can strip hair of oils). If you have dry hair, or hair-washing OCD
(I have both), a brand like Grow Gorgeous 11-in-1 Cleansing Conditioner (£17.99, boots.com) can be a pleasure to use. It has even added texture to my hair, which I really was not expecting at all.
